Our Team
The Ocean State Crossing is produced by the Summer Safe Ocean State Team who is responsible for Waterman Eco-Challenge & Summer Safe Ocean State 5K. A collection of Waterman, Lifesavers, Aquatic Professionals & Ocean Lovers, we are dedicated to producing an incredible experience, focused on safety & in coordination with our local agencies.
2025 Race Series
The Ocean State Crossing is the newest race in The Summer Safe Ocean State Event Series. Joining Waterman Eco-Challenge & Summer Safe Ocean State 5K to round out a dynamic coastal recreation experience this summer!
The Course
The Ocean State Crossing end points are Fort Adams Beach In Newport Harbor & George's of Galilee Beach in Point Judith. The Crossing direction will be based on weather conditions with the preferred route being Newport to Point Judith.
The Cause
Summer State Ocean State is a non profit organization supporting Drowning Prevention, Cancer Prevention/Cardiac Health & Coastal Sustainability. We donated $25k in 2024 & Our Goal is $60k in 2025!
